Insights from Past Participants
I really appreciated the concrete, evidence-based treatment ideas and patient experiences from our patient models. So often in formal education, my knowledge of amputation and prostheses has been very broad and high level, so having specific information and hands-on experience is extremely beneficial. I really appreciated that the learning space was approachable, and I felt I could ask any questions. The presenters were wonderful.
– Occupational Therapist
Seeing the individuals dealing with amputations and their demonstration of different mobility tasks and their conversations into daily life helped me a lot. I was able to learn some good foundational things that give me some confidence in working with this patient population more. I also took away some inspiration for advocacy for patients and looking into things outside of PT that can help them.
– Physical Therapist
