AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 16, 2021 – Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Hanger Clinic patients achieved their dreams of competing on the world stage at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games, which concluded last week.
Highlights of the Games included U.S. Women’s Sitting Volleyball player Lora Webster leading her team to a gold medal at her fifth Games, and Ezra Frech representing Team USA as the youngest member of the Track & Field team. Every athlete demonstrated remarkable dedication to their sport, and made their family, friends, and Hanger Clinic teams proud.
The athletes’ results are listed below, and they were recognized in a special social media post by their clinicians, who cheered them on from afar.
