Jacksonville, Fla., March 5, 2018 – People with limb loss and limb difference recently had the opportunity to meet with national and local prosthetic experts at a Patient Education Clinic (PEC) held at the Jacksonville, Florida Hanger Clinic location. Hanger Clinic Vice President of Prosthetics Kevin Carroll, MS, CP, FAAOP (D), Area Clinic Manager Dan Strzempka, and local prosthetists shared their expertise to help educate attendees on what’s available with prosthetic technology and what’s on the horizon.
Carroll and Wallis Farraday, Hanger Clinic’s Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, travel regularly to PEC events at Hanger Clinic locations around the country. Carroll and Farraday will host PECs at more than 200 Hanger Clinic locations in 2018.
PECs are complimentary to any person with limb loss or limb difference who may have questions or concerns regarding the fit, function, or design of their prosthesis. PECs also present a valuable opportunity to connect with other members of the limb loss and limb difference community.
