Michael Oros, CPO/L, FAAOP, is President of Hanger Clinic, having assumed the role in August 2022. Michael has more than 30 years of O&P experience, beginning his career as a staff clinician. Most recently, he spent 24 years at Scheck & Siress, where he joined as a lab manager and clinician before serving as corporate vice president, president, and eventually CEO. Michael joined Hanger in 2020 as regional vice president through the acquisition of Scheck & Siress, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Michael has served on the Board of Directors and as President for the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) as well as for the National Commission of Orthotic Prosthetic Education (NCOPE). Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Iowa and Certificates in Prosthetics-Orthotics and Kellogg’s Management Institute from Northwestern University.
