Now in its second year, this track brings together leading voices in O&P to illuminate the current state of the profession, share key insights and trends, and address the industry’s most pressing priorities. New this year, Bold Moves Labs—collaborative sessions tailored to specific high impact topics—drive accelerated progress and spark innovative solutions to the field’s most critical challenges.
Upon completion of this program, learners will be able to:

Award winning actress, producer, writer, athlete and bilateral above knee amputee
Katy Sullivan is an award-winning actress, producer, writer, athlete, bilateral above knee amputee and is the first actress who is an amputee to ever star on Broadway. She grew up in Alabama, performing in theatre and received a BFA in acting from Webster University’s Conservatory in St. Louis. As an actress, she has performed all over the US, including in THE LONG RED ROAD at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman and FINISH LINE: A Documentary Play about the 2013 Boston Marathon at the Shubert Theatre Boston.

Pete Stoy is Hanger’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, having assumed the role in May 2023. He joined Hanger as Chief Operating Officer in November 2020, and was named President in January 2023.

From Preferences to Expectations- Understanding Patient Behavior to Guide Care

Juan Marcos Gonzalez Sepulveda, PhD
Associate Professor; Duke Department of Population Health Sciences and Associate Professor in Medicine
Dr. Gonzalez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences and an expert in designing stated-preference surveys and applying advanced statistical methods to analyze preference data. His research centers on making benefit-risk evaluations of medical interventions more transparent and incorporating patient and stakeholder preferences into shared decision making. Currently, he collaborates with FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health to strengthen the agency’s review of stated-preference evidence in regulatory decisions.
