AUSTIN, Texas – May 28, 2020 – As the healthcare industry navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, Hanger Clinic is committed to providing timely and relevant resources for industry peers and partners throughout the medical community. To ensure educational content is available in an easily digestible and accessible format, Hanger launched the Hanger Clinic Virtual Classroom series, aimed at bringing its industry-leading continuing education program online.
“While the healthcare landscape is rapidly evolving, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing timely and accessible resources for our peers throughout the O&P community,” said Hanger President and Chief Executive Officer Vinit Asar. “As an industry leader, we are proud to be at the forefront of collaboration and innovation by offering a vast amount of tools through our ongoing webinar series and online education.”
The collaborative learning experience is led by experts in the orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) field, for O&P professionals, physicians, physical therapists, nurses and case managers nationwide. The carefully curated courses provide the opportunity to learn from clinical leaders, guest speakers, and patients alike, with some featuring breakout sessions, small group activities, and case reviews.
“With COVID-19 significantly impacting the O&P landscape, we quickly rose to the challenge and adapted our educational program to a widely-accessible online learning format, and look forward to building on the innovative program to be a trusted resource for our industry peers,” said Hanger Clinic President Sam Liang.
As part of ongoing virtual learning efforts and complementing its professional education initiatives, Hanger Clinic hosted an industry-wide webinar on May 21, discussing strategies and insights for navigating O&P care through the COVID-19 pandemic.
