AUSTIN, Texas – March 27, 2020 – As the world responds to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we at Hanger remain focused on protecting the health and safety of our employees, orthotic and prosthetic patients, customers, associates and communities around the country.
We have a cross-functional leadership team closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation, including guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, Hanger is following social distancing, shelter-in-place, and essential-travel-only mandates by state and local governments and complying with all guidance.
With this information, the team is communicating and implementing thoughtful plans to preserve the safety and well-being of our Hanger family, including our approximately 5,000 employees across the U.S.
As essential healthcare providers, our Hanger Clinic team members are working to minimize exposure and close contact, while focusing on essential care.
