AUSTIN, Texas, March 18, 2022 – Several Hanger Clinic patients achieved their dreams of competing on the world stage at the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games, which concluded last week.
Highlights of the Games included U.S. Men’s Sled Hockey team captain Josh Pauls leading his team to earn their fourth consecutive gold medal, and Lera Doederlein representing Team USA as one of the youngest members of the U.S. Nordic Skiing Team. Every athlete demonstrated remarkable dedication to their sport, and made their family, friends, and Hanger Clinic teams proud.
The athletes’ results are listed below, and they were recognized in a special social media post by their clinicians, who cheered them on from afar.
