FRESNO, Calif., Oct. 15, 2024 – Hanger, Inc., the leading provider of orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) patient care services and products, celebrated today the opening of its newest, state-of-the-art distribution facility with a ribbon-cutting event in Fresno, California.
Hanger strategically relocated its West Coast distribution operations to Fresno due to the optimal location. The 75,000-square-foot facility will be the company’s West Coast hub for distributing O&P products to patient care facilities across the nation – enabling the delivery of custom solutions to the limb loss and limb difference community.
“As Hanger’s ecosystem continues to grow, it is critical that our distribution network continues to serve our customers and patients efficiently,” said Hanger Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Customer Operations, Kate Means. “This new facility not only allows us to stock significantly more products, but also enables us to improve service lead times – something that is critical for those we have the honor of serving.”
In addition to increased facility size, the distribution center boasts technological efficiencies and several energy-saving features, including solar energy panels to offset carbon footprint and provide a high percentage of power for the facility; motion-activated LED lighting paired with natural skylights to help consume less energy throughout the building; and low energy consumption ventilation and HVAC systems.
