
AUSTIN, Texas, September 25, 2024 – World-class athletes from across the globe with limb loss, limb difference, and other physical challenges who receive orthotic and prosthetic care, competed at the highest level of international competition at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games which concluded earlier this month.
Among the competitors were 11 athletes who receive care from Hanger Clinic, including Ezra Frech who won two gold medals, one in the 100m and the other in the high jump, where he set a new Paralympic record and nearly beat his own world record. Additionally, triathletes Chris Hammer and Allysa Seely both secured medals, with Hammer winning gold, his first medal in his fourth Paralympic Games, and Seely earning bronze, making her a medalist in each of the three Games in which she has participated – Rio de Janeiro 2016 (gold) and Tokyo 2020 (gold).
