Hanger Clinic Athletes Shine at the 2026 Milano Cortina Paralympic Games

AUSTIN, Texas, March 30, 2026 – World-class athletes from across the globe living with limb loss, limb difference, and other physical challenges competed at the highest level of international sport at the 2026 Milano Cortina Paralympic Winter Games. Among them were numerous athletes who receive orthotic and prosthetic care from Hanger Clinic, proudly representing their countries and demonstrating the power of determination and resilience.

Standout performances included Josh Pauls, a five-time Paralympic medalist who helped lead the U.S. Sled Hockey Team to a historic gold medal victory, defeating Canada 6–2 in a dominant showing. In men’s para-alpine skiing, Patrick Halgren secured a silver medal in the Super-G standing event, and Andrew Kurka, a three-time Paralympic medalist, earned bronze in the Super-G sitting event.
