Nevins is a highly decorated U.S. Army veteran of both the Gulf and Iraq Wars, who lost both legs below the knee in combat in 2004, and his story is being spotlighted in a “Those Who Serve” segment. He recently shared his personal journey with the limb loss and limb difference community during an adaptive yoga class at Hanger Clinic’s EmpowerFest, a first-of-its-kind virtual amputee support event.
