Hanger Foundation’s Night to Inspire Raises More Than $500,000

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 8, 2024 – The Hanger Foundation’s first Night to Inspire gala fundraiser took place Jan. 22, raising more than $500,000 in support of its mission to empower people with physical challenges to live life as fully as possible.

Hanger Foundation Board President and Vice President of Tax for Hanger, Inc., Scott Rowe, expressed his gratitude to the Nashville community and beyond for rallying around the important cause: “Thanks to our donors, we were able to impact more than 17,000 people with physical challenges in 2023, and the success of this event means we’ll be able to impact even more in 2024. Our vision is to bring together those passionate about the O&P community, as we did for our annual Night to Inspire event, to show how individual contributions can multiply into broad community support. By partnering with grassroots nonprofit organizations across the U.S., the Hanger Foundation provides needed resources for programs and events that serve those with limb loss, limb difference and other physical challenges.”

The event – presented by Access Healthcare – took place at the Country Music Hall of Fame and was emceed by Bill Cody, announcer for the Grand Ole Opry. In addition to a dinner and auction, the event featured performances by Rhett Akins, Jessi Alexander, and the Warren Brothers. The artists, who have written a combined 57 #1 hits, also shared some of the stories behind their music and what has inspired them. The evening concluded with a special multi-year Empowerment Grant presented to Camp No Limits in honor of their 20^th anniversary. Camp No Limits hosts twelve annual camps for youth with limb loss and limb difference around the country, including one in Nashville.

Rob Pittman, Night to Inspire Event Chair, Vice President of Sales for Hanger Clinic, and Nashville native, said: “We were thrilled to host this event right here in Nashville at such an iconic location with performers personally motivated by the Foundation’s mission. We look forward to returning in 2025.”

Earlier this month, the Hanger Foundation announced they have donated $260,000 in grants to 32 nonprofits for 2024.
